- Meals on Wheels provides a hot meal to Dixon resident shut ins. A cold sack lunch is also available for the evening meal if desired.
- We deliver Monday -Friday on assigned weeks.
- We are assigned 2, two-week periods one year and the next year is 3, two-week periods.
- We fill four routes each day we are assigned, so 8 people per day are needed.
- We meet at the lower level of KSB's parking garage at 11:00.
- Meals come out about 11:10 and it takes an hour or less to deliver meals depending on the route you are given in Dixon.
- Most people work as a two person team with one driving and one getting out to deliver.
- People can sign up as a pair or can be grouped together.
- Some choose to work alone which is fine.
